No one will ever be able to say I didn't teach my kids about the finer things in life... what's better than actual home made (not from a box cupcakes)? Licking both batter & frosting spoons!
Ever since my first Sprinkles cupcake I have been on a cupcake kick. Thanks to the cupcake queen I have found zillions of recipes. I tried this recipe from Amy Sedaris first. They were voted second in New York City by New York Magazine... I couldn't pass that up! And boy were they tasty... care to try them for yourself? Go HERE!

Those look delish! We made cupcakes yesterday and I was thinking about that recipe. We went for the basic MS ones b/c my computer was off (trying so hard to stay off it!) and that was the one I had printed. I'm happy to now print off the other one and keep it handy.
I'm glad to hear that these were good. I know she's known for them, but I hadn't tried them yet. I have her book though, so I'll try to make them soon!
speaking of sprinkles cupcakes, my friend just brought me some tonight. she used the Sprinkles brand mix they now sell at Williams-Sonoma.
very yummy. she brought me four. i have eaten two.
don't ask me about them after breakfast.
mmm. ditto. we had sprinkles red velvet and i've been on a lovely cupcake binge as well. luckily your little man looks like he's a handy helper to have around!!
I want Gavin's job of liking the spatula...
