seeing polka dots

prior to the sewing machine incident, i was able to whip this out in order to send to missy for the favorite things swap. speaking of the aforementioned incident... i am happy to report, that thanks to all of your encouraging words and advice, i took apart my machine, performed a good cleaning, gave it a little tweak here and there & it is now working. i have to be honest, i have NO idea what i did, i'm just glad it's on the mend! hope you all have a happy weekend.

I love the apron (I am CRAZY about aprons!) I am NOT good on the sewing machine, but one of my life goals is to make something from a pattern. This apron could be it!

I'm glad you got it done!

I am so intimidated by break-downs of my machine, that I would rather just go buy another one than open it up and try to fix it.

And yes, that is exactly what I did last time it broke. ;-)

That apron is to die for cute- love the polka dots. I saw the pattern you linked and it looks totally doable- I might just have to make one in orange :)

I hate fixing my machine- I just call my mom and if she can't do it, I know I have to take it in. Kudos to you for doing whatever you did.

Oh! And I was at Target yesterday and totally got the skirt you linked in black- so cute and comfy. I don't think I would have thought to try it on had I not remembered your post. Awesome :)

OH, but I THANK YOU for sending it off to me. Huge, huge thanks. When I showed my husband he said, "Polka dots, did you tell her?" I love them so, so much. And I love the apron. Thank you again!

Awesome apron! I'm so glad you got the machine up and running w/o spending a lot of cash. What a relief.

Thank you so much for the fun book. I read it to Adam tonight and he liked it so much. Maybe too much, it was hard to stop the touching and licking . Such a cute story and a fabulous book.

I totally enjoy your blog and what a small world this is because I see some of the same people commenting on your blog that I've seen on other blogs.

You are so crafty too, it's inspiring! I'd love to do the next swap of favorite things.
