if i were a better aunt...

& i didn't already have a zillion things i'd love to make for my niece for christmas, i'd whip her up one of these family alphabet books. although, seeing that i'm not super great at scrapbooking & making it all cute-sy, i'd probably use something like shutterfly to make it look professional. this would be perfect for her though, seeing as they live so dang far away... it would definitely help her remember who we all are. although, i might have to get creative with a few of the letters (i have no idea what i would put for x, for example).

I've always wanted to make a family ABC book. Check out the book Kat made for her kids at

Take care.

I was sitting behind a family at church and the 17 year old son was sitting and looking at his 3-year-old brother's ABC scrapbook!!! It cracked me up and made me want to make one too. X should be for you...the Xtra Special Person who makes this!!

I've made several ABC books for neices, nephews, grandparents...they are awesome and so quick and easy to make! I did the ABC's of Christmas Memories for my grandparents several years ago and they loved it!

I did this once for my son who is now six and he loves it. For x I did eXcited. I know it is a big of a stretch but I had the perfect picture to go with it!

What a good idea. I do like the shutterfly option as well.

I've also seen XOXO used for X, too.
