little o has recently realized that he can climb out of his crib. almost every night, when i check in on him, prior to going to sleep myself, i find him fast asleep on the floor.... although he makes sure to bring his favorite blanket & stuffed animal with him.

Ok, that is hilarious (and maybe a little scary). I have a two year old and I don't think its ever even occured to him to try to climb out - which just makes procrastinating on making a 'big boy' room that much easier.

My 8 year old prefers to sleep in his closet. I guess he feels safer this way. The first time he did it I couldn't find him and I panicked. We finally found him curled up in his closet - sound asleep.

Sounds like he might be ready for a BIG boy bed? So sweet that he takes along his stuffed animal and blankie... that's my kind of kid!
How old is he? I'm dreading the day when my boys learn how to do this. Since they're related to super ungraceful me, I can just see x-rays, and casts!
