art history was one of my favorite college courses of all time. i was lucky enough to take it the semester before "backpacking europe" with a few cousins & some friends. years later, i still get a thrill out of recognizing a work of art, or particular artist.
a couple of summers ago we traveled back to paris. we had some wonderful meals, saw the sights, made a trip to the second happiest place on earth, visited a museum or two, & picked up THIS awesome children's book. i love watching my boys thumb through it's pages, gazing at the beautiful paintings, pointing out the things they "spy". maybe the next time we go to the museum, they'll be the ones recognizing a painting or two.

wish we were back there..
I'll have to check that out. We love the Museum ABC, 123, and Shapes books. I bet my kids would love this, too.
what a great book! i, too, took art history in college, with my minor in art. i loved it. i would love to travel around the world some day and see some of those pieces in person!
Whoa it looks like a really neat book. I graduated in Art History & love everything to do with it. This is just a brilliant way to share your interests with your kiddos!
i would have ditched the college art history course all together and spent all my time doing the europe thing!!! Way cool.
we have this book as well, and i love it as much as my kids do... i love how it teaches kids to really look at the art.
I love art too. That looks like a really cool book.
Laurel loves her art history classes. She is hoping to go to Spain for study abroad in Jan. That book does look great for kids. Nice to expose them to great different things while they are young. Wish I had been better at that. Se La Vie! (sp)
Looks like an awesome book... another one my nieces would probably love!
I totally want this book!
looks intriguing!
What a great idea! My daughter would love it. The picture on the cover reminds me of the Thomas Crown Affair...one of my favorite movies!!
