life can get hairy.

especially when your parents don't want to cut your hair.

unfortunately, the day might come when you think your hair is just a touch too long, & you ask you parents to cut it. at first they might resist, but when they realize that you have to lift your head, just to see out from underneath your bangs, they'll probably give in. & even though jack says...

i don't think the new haircut looks that bad. it's like the best of both worlds, a little long & shaggy on top, but short enough that you can still see without having to tilt your head.

my husband loves that add. I am sure I will have the same dilemma with my son- I don't want him looking like Kate Hudson's son- that is a bit to long and girly for me, but I think he's going to have some darling curly locks and cutting it off just seems unbearable.

The bowl isn't so bad. Unless they are past the age of say.. 8? I think he looks super cute. Oh, and THANK YOU so much for your gift! I will let you know when I get it! (Really, thank you so much)

He is so cute.

I have been sad every day since cutting off Ham's curls. It won't be happening again for a very long time.

I've SO been there with my little guy! I LOVE the shaggy look, too, but we have to break down and cut his hair away from his eyes and get rid of the mullet every now and again... It's always a bit awkward while it grows out again, but they are cute no matter how the hair is cut - right! :)

Awww it's sooo cute! Trevor has always had real short hair. I've asked him the last few times, "don't you want to let it grow out??" and his big sister is talking him into letting it get longer lol.

congrats on the baby! how far along are you?? Gavin's hair cut looks really good! You sure have some good looking boys! And I loved your idea of labeling the cars, trains and action figures.... its so funny that those are like the main 3 toys all boys have and love. We definitely have plenty of Lightning McQueens and Thomas' around here!
