here's little o practicing his latest hobby... snail catching. i don't know what he loves more - finding a slimy little sucker or scaring gavin with them. yep! the big & tough 4 year old runs crying when he sees a snail, & owen the two year old screams with glee! i wonder if he'd eat escargot?

yuck! Boys are so funny like that... on our recent camping trip, my lil boy spent HOURS and HOURS digging for worms! BLAH!
when my brother and i were little (we are 5 yrs apart) we used to get up early in the morning on weekends and collect snails. We'd paint their shells and then have "races". Then we'd let them go and hope to find them again the next morning. I remember the excitement of finding one that I painted. It was rare. We used those watercolor paints and usually by the next morning because of the dew it would wash off the snails.
what a sweetheart...maybe he can be the bugman...
Eeew. My son likes picking up bugs with his fingertips {shudder}(just the thought of a hard or soft bug body in my fingertips makes my skin crawl). I'm trying so hard not to scream and run when there are bees or moths (which I'm deathly afraid of) so he doesn't turn out to be a freak like me lol
