and could only bring one thing, it would probably be someone to do my eyebrows. and when i say "do my eyebrows" i don't mean waxing or plucking... i'm talking about threading. (never heard of threading? check out the video HERE to get a better idea.) see the way i figure, i can grow my own food, i can make my own clothes, but i need professional help when it comes to my eyebrows. i look back at pictures of me growing up & i don't ever want to see those big bushy eyebrows again. (how is it that i managed to live almost 23 years before taming the wild beasts? they were HUGE! why didn't any one show me the light?)
so there it is, my little secret. out there for the entire world to know. yep! i get my eyebrows done. (almost every other week... just a little obsessive you think?) so what little splurge could you not live without?

Pedicures are my favorite.
I had the same problem with my brows. I am now am obsessive plucker. I have tweezers in my purse, in my car and in every bathroom of the house.
Me too! It took me forever to get around to having my brows done and now I just couldn't go without it. I have what I like to call Oscar the Grouch brows.
where do you go for your threading? i've always wanted to try it...
i go to a place called ziba beauty... usually i go to the one in santa ana (right across from south coast) but they have locations all over, even in cerritos.
No way! I've never heard of threading. How cool is that?! I can't really afford any kind of similar guilty pleasure without the help of my mom. However, if I was stranded on an island I would HAVE to have my pillows. All five of them. *B
I really should get my eyebrows done more, they really need it. I am one of those cursed with a unibrow. However, my guilty pleasure is my stamping! Give me all my stamping supplies on and island and I would be happy.

Interesting watching the threading video. I had no idea that did things like that. I guess I like my eyebrows the way they are and just pluck the ones in between and any strays.

Wow! That was amazing! I've heard about it but never actually saw it like that, I'm a cosmetologist so I would need my scissors on my island! (and I would love hair color, though I would get natural highlights).
you were blessed on both sides of your family with huge eyebrows...i would bring my nail girl...because then she could give me my fills, a pedicure, she does permanent makeup..she has alot of tricks in her bag..
Uh could you invite me next time you get your eyebrows done? I totally need a good place to go! And since you go every other week we could definitely go sometime soon!
Can they not only tame the brows but give them a shape?
