ahoy! - "hello!"
avast! - stop & give attention. it can be used in a sense of surprise, "whoa! get a load of that!" which today makes it more of a "check it out" or "no way!" or "get off!"
aye! - "why yes, i agree most with everything you just said or did."
aye aye! - "i'll get right on that sir, as soon as my break is over."
arrr! - can mean, variously, "yes," "i agree," "i'm happy,"that was a clever remark you or I just made." & those are just a few of the myriad possibilities of arrr!

I didn't realize it was national pirate day. Em went to school in her pirate costume...but I thought it was just a first grade thing. Who knew the mateys were taking the country by storm?! We are total pirates around here...at all times! ARRRR....
oh, I love random holidays! me and my old roommates used to throw random holiday parties. we did talk like a pirate day... national squirrel appreciation day... baby potato head's birthday... oh, it was a lot of fun.
