i don't know about you, but i'm a huge fan of the teeny-bopper shows... the oc, laguna beach, one tree hill, dawson's creek, the hills, just to name a few. so it's no surprise that i loved gossip girl.
there's only been one episode & already i'm hooked. is it the best show ever? no. will it win any awards? of course not, don't be silly. but it's definitely entertaining, in that "there's no way life is really like this" kind of way.

Kelly, thanks for putting up that imdb link to One Tree Hill! It reminded me to go look at the episode soundtracks for Josh's band's name, which I hadn't thought to do before.
i watched it last night. and i liked it.
it was a good show...another one to "have" to watch
I totally love the hills. I have my dvr set to record the entire season, along with newport harbor. But the best part, I don't watch it alone. Dave also loves them. Ha ha.
I'm so with you on The hills, Laguna Beach, etc. Love them all.
Totally missed Gossip Girl last night, which sounds like it was good. I'll have to pick it up next week!

I really liked it too! Those shows can be a nice getaway from real life.
When I mentioned to my husband tonight that I missed the premiere of Gossip Girl he laughed and said, "Isn't that show for teenage girls?"
Yeah, so??? Those shows are a very fun diversion from my regular "responsible" life.
