this weekend i had to opportunity to indulge myself in a rare treat... a manicure & pedicure. (not that exciting for most of you i'm sure, but i don't get out by myself very often.) anyway, i had just dipped my footsies into the warm, bubbly foot spa and had reached around to grab a couple of magazines. imagine my surprise when all that was available were popular science & computer games. seriously?! all i wanted was a little frivolous fun. where was the latest issue of us or people?

Oh, that is wrong on so many levels...
yah I'd be seriously ticked off if they only had those to choose from. Did you go to a men's spa? just checking.
That's funny:) Maybe they just ran out of 'girly' mags or some women took them home? Still not cool, I mean come on you were getting a pedicure!!!
Maybe some guys get pedicures. I mean, you do live in the OC.
although, normally i'd be quick to agree with you marty, this was in SLC... at your very fashion place mall.
maybe we went to a guys manicure salon?
That is just horrible. I love reading those girly magazines when I'm getting a pedicure. The owner is going to lose business if he doesn't get with it!!!
Yeah, who did they think their major clientel was anyway? How bizarre. And good for you for treating yourself. I have had exactly one pedicure and one manicure in my life.
They broke the Golden Rule of nail spas--only stock fluffy mind numbing magazines! That's one of the reasons I go (besides my feet needing serious therapy) to catch up on celebrity news...er,I mean gossip.
Huh!?! That's not right!
