how much is that doggie in the window?

so, the original purpose of these little critters is to keep out the cold. but who's to say that's all you could use them for? with a few easy changes (maybe fill them with batting instead of rice), & viola! you've got a toy. they are easy enough that the kids could help make them for friends or cousins, or make them yourself, to stuff into their stockings! (i just might have to make one of the stripey snakes, i think my boys would get a kick out of him.) instructions can be found HERE.

Or you could stuff it with a bat and use it as a cute weapon. Or maybe stuff it with a human arm and use it as a place to hide your severed human arm. So many possibilities.

vallen is a hot chocolate lover too. me, i fill the cup half full of hot chocolate, okay maybe less and the rest is whip cream...so i think i'm more of a whip cream lover...the kind that squirts from a can! love it.
