it doesn't matter what season it is, i LOVE hot chocolate. before i had kids, when i was working full time, i used to stop every morning at 7-eleven for my morning dose, i had the "recipe" down... i knew exactly how much of each of the syrups & flavored creamers to add. although i'm "home" now, & the local "sev" is exactly local, i still need to get my "fix". most of the time i make my hot chocolate in big batches from scratch. (my mom taught me to pour the leftovers into a clean, but used, plastic milk jug. that way it stores easy in the fridge & is perfectly suited for pouring into cups!) however lately, i've been using store bought mixes (although i do substitute milk for the water the package calls for, in order to make it rich & creamy) & my newest indulgence... a hot chocolate maker. i know, i know, it sounds totally silly. but, if your a hot chocolate connoisseur, like myself, then you'll appreciate the fact that it heats, mixes & froths, all with the push of a button. in fact, it makes it so incredibly frothy that you almost don't need to add whipped cream, notice i did say almost. mmm! i think i'll go make a cup right now.

I didn't realize they made these. I have a cup of cocoa every day. With coffee creamer in it. Yum! I'll have to keep my eye out for one!
We got a Cocomotion as a gift a couple of years ago...it's fun and does make yummy hot cocoa!
I have been wanting one of these for a long time, now. I love hot chocolate, and so do my kids!
Mmmmm! Hot coco is the best, especially with a candy cane stirrer! I may be needing some of this today for sure, we are getting a snow storm! Schools out and all!
a hot chocolate maker is on the top of my chistmas list. love hot chocolate. with home made biscotti. perfect.
I am a huge hot chocolate fan in the morning (check out my blog I did a whole post on my mugs!) I make it every morning, I have my own special pan and mug, I don't like whip cream but I do put 5-6 big marshmellows. I use my Mother's recipe (picked up this morning habit from her) and it is the Hershey's one you like but in a single serving, I have never made a big batch and then saved the leftovers, is it really the same the next day? That would save me some work on a couple days....I haven't tried a Hot Chocolate Maker either, maybe I should...
Hmmm, I didn't know there was such a thing as a hot chocolate maker. I might have to look into that!
I use milk with my cocoa too.
My friend has a hot chocolate maker and YUM!!!! It makes the most delicious hot, frothy, hot chocolate!
This warms my toes just reading about it!
