Yes, it would be impossible to forget this man. I am so glad he gets to be with his wife again.

He was such a good man. I'm grateful for his love, his sense of humor and his dedication to the work. I will miss him and his smile.

kirsten sue & i have the same thoughts for sure! when i heard of his death i was surprised i wasn't more sad. although, i have to admit i'm not usually the type to get teary-eyed... but he was an incredible man, & the prophet i have felt closest to during my short life - he was just so endearing! but, he lived a good long life & he has accomplished sooo much. yet, when i was talking to my mom about how happy i was that he got to be together with his sweet wife, & how happy i'm sure he was, that's when the water works started. but they were definitely tears of joy... i'm just so thrilled that he & she can once again be together again. & i'm so grateful, because one day, i too will be able to be together with those i've lost. the gospel is a wonderful thing.

Thank you for this tribute - he was a wonderful man, a great person, and truly a prophet of God!

I thought you were LDS too...

When my dad died I felt a great coming together of all the people who loved him, too. That unity and support made one of the most memorable parts of his life...his death. Wierd. That's how I feel today. Knowing there are millions of us feeling love for this dear man.

He will be greatly missed. And one of my best friend's said it best - there was a HUGE party in the celestial kingdom last night. I just imagine Christ and Sister Hinkley welcoming him home. and now I'm all teary eyed too.
