a slight mishap.

you know how i thought my most quilt was done? well, i guess gavin didn't agree. he found a pair of scissors ( & when i say "found" i mean he climbed up onto the counter & got them off the top shelf in the cupboard where i was hiding them) & cut the binding. i guess he didn't love it as much as i thought he would. so now i have a bit of repair work to do.

Oh my. I can't see the picture, but that's probably for the best. :)

I will let you know how the "Sew What Skirts" book goes...

aaahhhh- I would cry! You seem to be handling it well, though.

Bummer...my daughter did a similar thing once but she cut through a ball of yarn and not the blanket I was working on, luckily.

Also, you should definitely give crochet a try, it is quick and super fun. Thanks for the compliments on mine, but you should know I just learned about 2 months ago. So find somebody who knows how to crochet and have them teach you! You won't regret it.

well, all you can say is that he watches you doing it and wants to try it out himself...he's just trying out his creativity...and you just get to try out your patience...good luck with both...

I would totally be crying. I hope you handled the situation better than I think I would have. Good luck with the fix up.
