there's still time.

i realize that tomorrow is april fools...
so i thought i'd share with you my all time favorite prank. it's quick & easy, & more than likely you already have all the ingredients. all you do is take an oreo cookie (preferably of the double stuff variety), twist the top off, scrape out the cream & replace it with plain white toothpaste. replace the top & voila! you've got yourself the easiest (& in my opinion) best prank ever. put them in your kids' lunches, or leave them out on a plate for everyone to enjoy as an afternoon snack! (just make sure that no one really swallows the cookie, as i'm sure you already know, toothpaste is NOT edible!)

These would be delicious with another favorite: serve a glass of "punch" made by putting a few drops of red food coloring in a clear pitcher of water. Because you expect a flavor, the plain water tastes terrible.

You're funny!

I woke up this morning to Isabel throwing up, so I guess the joke is on me today!

This is seriously a great idea and while my husband is gone at work today I am SO going to give this one a try and see if he falls for it... He loves Oreos so this might just work! Thanks for the idea.

thanks for the bag details. i will surely try it all as soon as finals are over!

i live in wyview park. it is previous married housing, turned in to freshman housing because they tore down desert towers. it is so much fun. i love it because it is like a real apartment, not like the dorms. we have a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. 2 girls share and 1 girl has her own room. they are really new and nice. also, the rent is about 1/4 of the price of heritage or helaman halls.

i am SO glad i lived here. at first, i knew i did not want to live there because it was so far away. i don't have a car and it is about a 25 minute walk to campus. sometimes in the snow, it is brutal. but really--i am so glad i did. the walks are so nice. i would be a different person without that time to myself to think and half some calm before and after school. there is also a bus that takes you closer to campus than you could get with a car. so that is a good option.

life in the dorms is hard for a lot of reasons. i know a lot of people love it and wouldn't trade it, but i am not that way. first off, you don't have any homespace. everyone is always awake even when you are trying to sleep. but mostly, standards seem to be lower there. i can't remember if you went to byu but i know that people do not act like they should as byu students. what i'm saying is that wyview is hardly a party place. there is less promiscuity and just plain bad behavior. not that you can't find that in wyview. i just really like it. you can escape it if you need to. i also think a lot of people have good clean fun in heritage and helaman halls. i just know my ward is great and we seem to be more mature and less freshman-y.

wow! there's my huge synopsis on where a freshman should live at byu. i could write a thesis on it!

My girlfriend told me one today that I think is pretty awesome. Push a raisin into the end of the toothpaste tube so when your hubby pushes out his toothpaste tonight he will get a sweet surprise!
